White sand, clean and flat, but not much shade, although there is a beach bar with cool drinks and air-con. A bit rocky on the western-side but parking is easy, plentiful and right on the beach. Located in the Vale da Torre de Cima it's the next beach along from Zavial.

A good beach for surfer beginners as there is a regular small swell that breaks not far from the beach and the shelter of the bay means it's an easyish swim out.
