Founded in 2001, it is one of the newest courses in the Algarve. Situated between Lagos and Luz in 260 acres of rolling terrain, many of the 18 holes have a view of the sea and the course features some excellent water-hazard holes. Driving range, chipping and putting greens and a teaching academy are available. A current handicap card is required to play (men 27 ladies 34) and proper soft spikes must be worn.
Founded in 1987, at Vale do Poço, it is still a somewhat raw and rugged course with perhaps a little too much slope in places, but a bright change from some other open-park style layouts common in the Algarve. The short fifth, only 88 metres from the yellow tees, is played from an exposed hill top towards a crown green on a hillock and club selection can vary widely in fickle winds. Driving range, putting practice greens, pro shop and short-game practise area are available. Located just off the EN125, 16km west of Lagos, there are villas and apartments to rent or buy within the park. A health and beauty spa, tennis, archery, bowls lawns, swimming pools and gym facilities are incorporated.
